DIY ST. PATRICK’S PAPER HAT

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Green card paper
  • Glitter paper
  • Green ribbon
  • Small plate
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors
  • Tape

STEPS

  1. Cut a piece of the green card paper â…” length ways.
  2. Roll this piece of card into a cylinder shape to be the tall part of the hat, secure with tape.
  3. Trace a circle onto another piece of green card to create the brim of the hat.
  4. Cut this circle out, before attaching the two pieces with hot glue.
  5. Wrap the ribbon around the base of the hat, above the brim. Secure with hot glue.
  6. Trace the shape of a shamrock onto the back of the glitter card.
  7. Cut out the shamrock and attach to the hat using hot glue.
  8. Fill the hat with crumpled paper or fabric to create height, before adding in chocolate coins or other St. Patrick’s Day treats.
